Typical reward is like 5 money for holding the mouse over one object for several seconds (then waiting for the laser to recharge) when the cheapest upgrades cost 4 to 500? Not enough sense of progress to be fun on manual mode, and no laser automation to make it a decent idle. 1/5 as it is, unfortunately.

Fair enough! There's definitely a lot of balance and tweaking of #s that needs to be done. Now that the big UI overhaul is done I can start working on new modules like the automatic turrets. 

I second that. Quite the nice concept and gameplay, but way to cumbersome at the start. Bought some upgrades, everyone now costs 500. And it feels like "after several hours of grinding i might be able to afford another one". 

I appreciate the feedback. I am working on the engineering interface and hope to release that today, and I will rebalance the upgrade paths for existing components as well.

Unfortunately not really playable on a retina display.

Oh interesting - looks like the primary viewport isn't scaling correctly. I'll dig into this a bit, thank you for letting me know!
